Re: Our Astronomy
I think it has to do with point of perspective and spacial relationships.

Re: Our Astronomy
I just finished submitting my data from last night's observations to the AAVSO.
I submitted for VY UMa & Z UMa. I was also trying for R Hya but I got confused on a few stars and was not able to locate it I have researched and fixed my problem with locating R Hya so next time (which I hope will be in a few nights) I should be able to get it.
I seen something strange last night when I first started observing and trying to locate R Hya in the wrong spot. It must have been close to midnight and somewhat south of Arcturus. It was a ball traveling east fast that blink off after the short travel that I seen it make. The shooting stars that I see are streaks because they leave trails. This was leaving no trail. At first I was thinking fire ball but I'm not sure because of it not having a tail.
